Foreway invested in the RedPrairie® IT platform to support our own core competence and drive out costs across clients' logistics. Foreway uses RedPrairie to integrate with your existing systems to provide comprehensive supply tier visibility.
The results? Decreased cost, complexity, and inventory.
Foreway chose RedPrairie after extensive research revealed it is designed explicitly with manufacturers in mind, featuring the industry's most advanced, integrated suite of supply chain applications.
The Foreway-RedPrairie partnership is a powerful one, combining 25 years of transportation expertise with 25 years of leading-edge logistics systems design. Together we offer:
- Full integration of data with existing ERP or SCM systems at low cost
- Process automation to smooth operations, preventing the last-minute fires that break out when systems can't talk to each other

DLx® Transportation enables Foreway to custom-build, route, tender, assign and track shipments in collaboration with carriers, customers, suppliers, 3PLs and exchanges, thereby differentiating your deliveries. The DLx Transportation module provides continuous optimization of inbound and outbound loads; load consolidations that aggressively minimize parcel & LTL shipments; automatic tendering to prioritized carrier lists via EDI or internet; and more.
COPLEX™ provides dynamic load consolidation, dramatically reducing costs by eliminating stops in transit, LTL and parcel shipping. The program ensures the most cost-effective shipping, given client and customer requirements and dynamic assessment of pool distribution. Planned or opportunistic cross-docking is automatically suggested.
Event Management System (EMS) is designed to expect, detect and communicate the unexpected, be it a delayed order, shortage or late delivery, allowing for the real-time management integral to lean logistics.
DLx® Carrier and DLx® Tracker are roles-based web applications that enable shippers to easily connect with suppliers, carriers and customers that lack EDI capabilities or to avoid costly VAN charges. Users can view shipment details; schedule delivery; find carriers to accept loads; post capacities; and provide shipment status and proof of delivery via track and trace. Drill-down information is available by SKU, PO, order number, customer number and other parameters.
DLx®RPWriter provides key carrier performance and lane analysis metrics faster, better, cheaper and more flexibly. View reports on the web, then send them through a browser, customize, export and archive them.
DLx® Scorecard automates comprehensive performance metrics from distribution, transportation and inventory right down to carrier performance and lane analysis. You can see real-time profitability and which logistics components need improvement, and use the alert system to set performance triggers and thresholds for automatic notification of events.
DLx® Freight Pay eliminates headaches by automating invoicing and reconciliation of freight bills, including auto-pay, match and pay on claims.
Dock Door Scheduling alleviates facility congestion by leveling peaks and valleys in workloads and workflow. Dock Door's web portal for appointment scheduling configures dock equipment/capacity parameters and shapes loads to fit them. Carriers can request and secure available appointment slots, eliminating costly manual scrambles.
DLx® Integrator seamlessly integrates across multiple systems, protocols and hosting environments, including I2, Manugistics, Logility, Manhattan, Irista, High Jump, G Log, Descartes, Lean Logistics, SAP and SSA, enabling Foreway to directly integrate with both legacy and ERP systems.
LENS is an international visibility tool providing Web-based inventory and paperwork processing. LENS ties into the supply chain scorecard, providing real-time, end-to-end supply chain visibility, traceability and control across the supply network. |
